HOCATT™: What to Expect

Hyperthermic Ozone & Carbonic Acid Transdermal Therapy

What happens once in the HOCATT room?

You will have the opportunity to change your clothes and wrap yourself in a towel or robe. The HOCATT technician will warm up the sauna.

Once the sauna is comfortably warm, then you will go into it. If needed, the HOCATT technician will help the person into the sauna.

Once you are comfortable in the sauna, the HOCATT technician will close the doors.

Once you are comfortably in the sauna, and the doors are closed, with your head out of the top, the HOCATT technician will put a cap around your head to enclose the ozone into the sauna chamber.

With the wrap placed properly, the technician will provide you with a cold towel around your neck and also pure oxygen (93%) via a cannula so you can receive pure oxygen during your session.

Once you are in the HOCATT Ozone Sauna:

As the session begins, you will have carbonic acid being put into the chamber. This will last for 3–5 minutes in many cases.

Once that is completed, the CO2 will turn off and the steam and far infrared (FIR) heat will be put into the Ozone sauna.

Ozone will also start flowing into the chamber as this is occurring. When the ozone is in the chamber, it will create a reaction on the skin, and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) will form.

The ozone portion of the sauna will stimulate the body’s natural anti-oxidant system. There is energy that is purported down to the cellular level and viruses, bacteria, yeast, and fungal infections are targeted.

The purpose of the steam and infrared is to raise up your body temperature to create an artificial fever and raise the core body temperature.

As the body is heated up, the internal systems are enhanced and metabolic process are improved.

The purpose of the sauna is to help regenerate and keep them in a healing state. The heat that is provided in the HOCATT™ Ozone Sauna will dilate the pores and enhance circulation. The far infrared portion of the sauna will penetrate deeply into the epidermal layers and also have a positive effect on joints, muscles, and vital organs.

Besides the infrared, ozone, and carbonic acid portions of the sauna, you can also experience the specialty electrotherapy programs. They are used to enhance the nervous and muscular system also improve your overall immune system.

The electrotherapy will be specific to particular conditions and is focused on the healing and regeneration of damaged tissues. Along with the modalities listed, the HOCATT™ can also incorporate aromatherapy with the usage of essential oils.

At the end of your session, the ozone is extracted via the destructor so that no particular portion of the ozone gas will escape into the room. Once this step is completed, you can put your towel around you and the HOCATT technician can help you out of the sauna.
